Yigal is a lifelong student of Torah and place, of text and land. He co-founded the Eco-Israel Apprenticeship at the Chava v’Adam Farm in central Israel, and was the founding manager of the Shmita Project. Yigal’s writing has been published in books and magazines, and he is the co-author of Hazon’s Shmita Sourcebook as well as the author of Envisioning Sabbatical Culture. He resides in Northern California with his wife & son.
